ScopeDocs has been selected for the Startup Showcase at Web Summit 2026 in Lisbon, Portugal. Web Summit runs November 9 to 12, and our team will be there to show what we're building and to meet the people we're building it for.

The Startup Showcase is where Web Summit's selected early-stage companies exhibit during the event. It isn't an award, and it isn't an endorsement of our product. It's four days of conversations with people who care about how technical work gets done, which is exactly why we're going.

The question nobody can answer quickly

Every technical team has a version of this moment. A client asks why a field in their CRM was customized six months ago. Or an on-call engineer needs to know why a retry limit was lowered last spring. Someone remembers it being discussed, but not where.

The answer exists. It's split across a Slack thread, a Jira ticket, a pull request, and a call nobody wrote up. An hour later, someone has pieced it together. Next month, someone else runs the same search.

Handoffs make it worse. A consultant rotates off an implementation, a new engineer joins mid-project, or a support team inherits a customer after go-live. The work shipped, but the reasons behind it stayed in people's heads and in tools nobody has time to dig through.

AI agents raise the stakes. An agent working on a codebase or a customer issue is only as good as the context it gets. Hand it a stale wiki page and you get a confident answer built on old information.

What we're building

ScopeDocs connects the places project knowledge already lives: code, tickets, documents, and conversations. It keeps each decision linked to its source, so the answer to "why does it work this way?" comes with the PR, ticket, or thread behind it.

People use that shared context to find answers and understand project history. AI agents use the same record over MCP, so people and agents work from the same facts. From there, teams can act on what they find and automate the recurring work that depends on it.

We build for engineering and technical delivery teams, ERP and CRM implementation consultancies, forward-deployed engineers, and B2B technical support teams. In short, anyone running complex work where the "why" matters as much as the "what."

Why we're going to Lisbon

Web Summit brings together founders, engineers, investors, and operators from around the world. We're going as much to listen as to demo. We want to hear how other teams handle handoffs, repeated questions, and context for AI agents, and where their current tools fall short.

If you lead an engineering team, run customer implementations, or support systems you didn't build, we'd like to meet you. The same goes for founders working on how teams and agents share knowledge.

Not going to Web Summit? Start with how ScopeDocs works, or read two of the problems above in more detail: why CRM handoffs break between pods and tracing why a field was customized. More of our writing on knowledge management is on the blog.

See you in Lisbon.
